It’s all Greek to me

 GRK_showSite_musicExtra

Have I entered my second childhood already? Or am I just in denial that being thirty means you’re no longer a kid, but a full-fledged adult, and shopping in the juniors department just isn’t cool anymore.

Yet, I can still dream of wearing those cute little outfits Casey and Ashleigh romp around in on ABC Family’s Greek, right?

Of course. This season, Greek has become even more of a guilty pleasure of mine. While I still don’t advise this one for the actual college and teenage crowd (because glorifying underage frat party drinking sends out the wrong message), it does make me long for those simpler days. You know. When attracting pledges was way more important than attracting employers, and paying for floats and kegs took precedence over groceries and utilities.

So, get hooked, too. Check it out Mondays at 8/7 C on ABC Family.

Coming to an end

I don’t know if the writer’s strike has finally affected the good writing that once was projected through American television, but this season I was quite disappointed with the season finales. While some rated better than others, none of them really made me anxious for next season. The closest I got was watching the commercial that announced next season is the last one for Lost.

So, I’m wondering: What did you think? What was your favorite season finale? What can’t you wait for next fall?

In her shoes (or rather Ruby slippers)

While I admit, I am in no way close to her weight. But if Ruby can do it, I know I can.

I don’t consider myself obese, but I know I’m overweight. I know that my body is currently at the size it’s not meant to be and is not used to being.

So, as Ruby continues her journey, I have decided to start my own. Watch Ruby Sunday nights on TV, and check in on me from time to time.
